Leslie Orgel

Leslie Orgel was a scientist who was active in research into the origin of life. He was a biochemist whose research included the structure of RNA and DNA.
He died October 27,2007 of pancreatic cancer.
He was on the faculty of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in San Diego.
He proposed the hypothesis of Panspermia, that life on Earth may have come from space.
