Liberal Claptrap of the Week

From Conservapedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Liberal Claptrap of the Week is a feature of Conservapedia that recognizes a particularly nonsensical or absurd article or statement resulting from a liberal mindset.

To qualify, the statement or article should be above and beyond the routine liberal errors and deceit that appear daily in the media. A nomination for Liberal Claptrap of the Week should reflect a compounded liberal senselessness, analogous to a double negative. It will often be a logical extension of liberal position to an absurd conclusion.

For example, our inaugural winner of Liberal Claptrap of the Week is an article entitled "The Glass Ceiling for Female Terrorists," which combines the liberal obsession about an alleged "glass ceiling" with liberal permissiveness towards the causes of terrorism.[1] This article expressly gives credit to "Paul Broadwell of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Juan Cole of the University of Michigan, Martha Crenshaw of Stanford University, Caron Gentry of Abilene Christian University, Bruce Riedel of the Brookings Institution" for their contributions to the piece.[1]
