The Little Red Haired Girl (AKA Heather Wold) is Charlie Brown's crush who he loves from afar in the Peanuts comic strip. Most of the time she's talked about and mentioned, but in the comic strip she's never seen and isn't around. When Charlie Brown finally gets to dance with her and give her a kiss in the 1977 TV special It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown, he can't remember anything he did afterwards and has to be told by Linus.

Although she never appeared in the comic strip, the Little Red Haired Girl does appear onscreen in several Peanuts TV specials, where she is first given the name Heather, and the 2015 CGI animated feature The Peanuts Movie, where her full name is revealed as Heather Wold. Heather's physical appearance varied in her TV appearances over time, while in The Peanuts Movie, her appearance is based on how she appeared in It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown and the 1986 special Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!. Her animated appearances were not considered canonical to the strip by its creator Charles M. Schulz.

Schulz based the Little Red Haired Girl/Heather on Donna Mae Wold (born Donna Mae Johnson), a co-worker of his with whom he had been romantically involved for three years from 1947 to 1950, when Schulz's marriage proposal to her was turned down because she was already engaged to someone else, although they remained friends until Schulz's death in 2000. The reveal of Heather's last name in The Peanuts Movie is a nod to Donna Mae Wold, who died on August 8, 2016 at age 87.
