Lord Lucan

Richard Bingham, 7th Earl or Lucan, also known as Lord Lucan was (or possibly is) a British peer who vanished in 1974, after his children's nanny was found murdered.

An inquest named Lucan as the murderer, but his whereabouts continue to be a mistery. In a curious twist of fate, the MP John Stonehouse, who had faked his own suicide, was arrested in Australia in the belief that he was Lucan.

Although officially declared deceased in 1992, alleged sightings continue to this day.
