Louis Frey, Jr. (born January 11, 1934) served as the U.S. Representative from Florida's 5th congressional district from 1969 through 1979. A Republican, he served on the Interstate and Foreign Commerce Committee, the Science and Technology Committee, and the Select Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control. Frey unsuccessfully sought the Governorship in 1978 and the Republican nomination for United States Senate in 1980. He is currently an attorney with the law firm of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed in Orlando, Florida.Louis Frey, Jr. is founder of the Lou Frey Institute at the University of Central Florida, which
