Manchester City F.C. is a British soccer team playing in the English Premier League. It is the smaller of two English Premier League teams in the city of Manchester, the other being Manchester United. Usually lying lower in the Premier League than their derby rivals, Manchester United, City is managed by Mark Hughes. The team plays at the City of Manchester Stadium, built as the main stadium for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The stadium hosted the UEFA Cup Final in 2008. Currently, the club is owned by UAE's Sheikh Mansour, and the chairman is Khaldoon Al-Mubarik. Because of Mansour's wealth, Manchester City have been nicknamed the richest club in the world. The club is sponsored by Emerati airline Etihad.
