The Martyrs' Monument in St. Andrews, Scotland commemorates the Protestant martyrs of the faith, who were executed for purported heresy between 1520 and 1560 while the Protestant movement was still in its infancy. The martyrs were burnt at the stake, often at the north side of the Cathedral. The Monument is located at the western end of the Scores overlooking the Royal and Ancient Golf Club.[1]

Among the brave and fearless martyrs of the faith were Patrick Hamilton, Henry Forest, George Wishart and Walter Myln.
