Meditations of Marcus Aurelius
The Meditations are a collection of twelve books written by Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius in the Second Century A.D. Written in Koine Greek, they explicate his ideas on Stoicism and make him one of the foremost Stoic philosophers.
One of the first lines of the first book praises homeschooling and discusses the inherent shortcomings of public schools.
