Motive (magazine)

Motive was a journal renowned for its artistic layouts and daring article selection. It was published by the United Methodist Church. There were 32 volumes published spanning 1941 to 1972. Its target audience was university students. It received more or less favorable attention from Time magazine[1] and other secular media publications such as the New York Times.
