Nagorno-Karabakh War
From Conservapedia
The Nagorno-Karabakh War was an armed conflict fought between Armenia and Azerbaijan (and associated guerrilla forces) over the Nagorno-Karabakh exclave of Azerbaijan. The conflict took place between February 1988 and May 1994, with some of the heaviest fighting occurring in the spring of 1992. Approximately 17,000 people were killed in the conflict, with an additional 55,000 wounded. It is sometimes called the "ghost war" due to it's lack of international media coverage.
