Drusus I born Nero Claudius Drusus (38 B.C. to 9 B.C.) was the son of Livia Drusilla and stepson to the first Emperor of Rome, Augustus. He was the younger brother of Tiberius. Married to Antonia, daughter of Mark Antony and Octavia, three of their children survived to adulthood: Germanicus, Livilla, and Claudius. A popular man with the people of Rome and active in government and military operations, Drusus died while campaigning in Germany from injuries sustained by a horsing accident.
