Newark

Newark is a town in Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England, standing on the River Trent. It is an important crossing point of that river, guarded by a medieval castle, and the town also lies on the main East Coast Main Line railway between London and Edinburgh and on the Great North Road (A1).
