Online Protection and Enforcement of Digital Trade Act
From Conservapedia
(Redirected from OPEN Act)
The OPEN Act is alternative offered by the saner US House Representatives as an alternative to the various E-PARASITE Acts spawned by Hollywood-funded Congresspersons. One of the most prominent forces behind the OPEN Act is the tech-savy Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA). The OPEN Act promises to do what SOPA and PIPA supposedly set out to do (protect US citizen from fraudulent foreign products) without placing undo burdens on small businesses or granting vast censorship powers to the entertainment industries.
