An opinion poll is a non-binding vote, often in a newspaper or on an internet site, that mirrors a real election. This means that the people, and the politicians can discover how the people feel about the current government compared to its opposition. However, they are far from reliable, as not all people who vote in opinion polls will vote for real, and vice versa.
