Oprah Winfrey is a successful talk show host, and is one of the richest African-Americans of all time, and is considered one of the most influential.
Winfrey is a liberal Democrat, and has donated money to the Democratic Party, but received some praise in 2000 for allowing both presidential candidates, George W. Bush and Al Gore, to appear on her show in a fairly balanced manner, despite her personal views.[1] Winfrey has been a strong supporter of Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential campaign.[2]
