An orange is a fruit that grows on trees, is juicy, and high in vitamin C. Juice from the orange is also a popular drink, usually served with breakfast. Oranges were introduced to Florida, where orange trees frequently dot the landscape, by Juan Ponce de Leon in the 16th century. Oranges were also grown in great swathes across California in Orange county and the Napa Valley area, however larger oranges grown elsewhere removed the market for these fruits[1] and many of the orange groves have disappeared.
