Panfilo de Narváez

Pánfilo de Narváez (1478 – 1528), born in Castile, took part in the conquest of Jamaica in 1509 and Cuba in 1512. He led an expedition to Mexico in 1520 to oppose Hernan Cortes and another to Florida in 1527, where he died.
