Peace of Callias

With the Peace of Callias the Greco-Persian War officially came to an end. A victory for Greece, the treaty gave autonomy Greek city states in Asia minor in exchange for Greek promises not to interfere Persian internal affairs. It is generally considered a defeat for the Persian Empire which would never again attempt to invade Greece or expand into Europe.
