Phil Vischer (born Phillip Roger Vischer on June 16, 1966) is the cofounder of Big Idea, and currently the founder and leader of JellyTelly. Phil was born in Muscatine, Iowa, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He started Big Idea in 1989 as GRAFx Studios, and created VeggieTales with fellow former St. Paul College alumni Mike Nawrocki.
After leaving Big Idea, he began work on several more Christian creations, he started JellyTelly and began producing What's in the Bible? and Galaxy Buck. He also now produces and co-hosts The Phil Vischer Podcast, with Skye Jethani and Christian Taylor.
