Photography
From Conservapedia
Photography (French: photographie, German: die Fotografie, Greek: φωτογράφιση, Spanish: fotografía) the process or art of producing images on photosensitive surfaces (taking and printing photographs).
A photograph is an image captured by a camera onto film.
We owe the name "Photography" to Sir John Herschel , who first used the term in 1839, the year the photographic process became public. The word is derived from the Greek words for light and writing. [1]
