Pick-Wernicke syndrome

Pick-Wernicke syndrome is a specific type of Wernicke's aphasia that was described by the Czechoslovakian neurologist and psychiatrist Arnold Pick. It is a rare fronto-temporal neuro-degenerative disease causing about 0.4-2% of all dementia and affects women more than men.
