Portsmouth F.C. is a British soccer team currently playing in the English Football League Two. The team is based in Portsmouth, on the southern coast of England. Known colloquially as 'Pompey', the club is managed by Steve Cotterill and became the first club to enter administration whilst in the Premier League during the 2009/10 season. Their home uniform consists of blue shirts, with white shorts and red socks. They are sponsored by jobserve. They won the FA Cup in 1939 and 2008 and League titles in 1949 and 1950, all against the odds. Recent financial disarray saw them relegated in 2010.
