The Portuguese language is the language of Portugal and its former colonies, including Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, Guinea-Bissau, East Timor, Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe. It is the sixth-most widely spoken tongue in the world.
