Prophets (Mormon)

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) believe that there are modern day prophets. Mormons sustain the President of the Church as prophet, seer, and revelator. [1]

There have been sixteen prophets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first prophet was Joseph Smith. The current prophet is Thomas S. Monson.
