Rain Man

Rain Man is a movie about an abrasive selfish yuppie named Charles Babbit and his idiot savant brother Raymond. Charles discovers that his rich father died and left his fortune to an autistic brother he never knew he had. His brother does not understand the concept of money. This makes him angry. The autistic man in the movie was based on a real person, Kim Peek. The movie is probably not a very accurate portrayal of autism though, because Kim Peek is not autistic. He is very disabled and also very brilliant but he is not autistic, he is mentally retarded because he suffers from absence of the corpus callosum in his brain and from macrocephaly.
