Rob Bishop, born July 13, 1951 (age 61), is a Republican who represents Utah in the United States House of Representatives. Before being elected to Congress in 2006, he served both as chairman of the Utah Republican Party and as Speaker of the House in the Utah House of Representatives, and before his political career, he was a public school teacher.
