Robert Foster Bennett, born September 18, 1933 (age 76), is a Republican United States Senator from Utah. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1992 after serving as chief executive officer at for the United States Department of Transportation.[1] Over the course of the current Congress, Bennett has voted with a majority of his Republican colleagues 88% of the time during the current Congress.[2] He is up for reelection in 2010.
