Roberto "Bob" Martinez is a
Cuban-born
Florida lawyer and a partner at the law firm of Colson, Hicks, Eidson. He served as United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida from 1992-1993, making him the chief federal law enforcement officer in a district that extends from Key West to Ft. Pierce, Florida. Martinez holds a Master's degree in
Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in
Economics from the
University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Although a
Republican, Martinez has given campaign donations to
Democrats such as
John Edwards and
Bob Menendez.
