Robinson Cano

Robinson Jose Cano (born November 22, 1982 in the Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball (MLB) second baseman for the New York Yankees. He is known as a consistent hitter with some power and good defensive player. In his second season (2006) he was voted into the MLB All Star Game by his fellow players and coaches and had a league third best 342 batting average. He was also named a finalist for the Roberto Clemente Award.[1]
