Sam Porter

Sam Porter is a British fantasy novelist famous for his unfinished twelve book Sword of Asnagar series. Porter was born in 1975 in Ealing, London. He began writing at an early age publishing a number of stories in the Lord of the Rings fanzine The Bards of Rivendell. Porter graduated with a lower second class degree in Media Studies from the University of Macclesfield in 1997. His first novel, The Oracle of Fenrog, was published in 1999. Porter, together with his pet dog, Ames, mysteriously disappeared from a book signing held to promote the release of his eighth book, The Eye of Dietica, on Totnes High Street in March 2009. Neither have been seen since.
