Samuel Beckett

Samuel Beckett (1906-1989) was an Irish playwright, novelist and short-story writer, best known for the plays Waiting for Godot, Krapp's Last Tape, and Endgame. His works project a sense of helplessness and futility. His style has been called "the theatre of the absurd".
