Scipio

Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus (236 BC -183 BC) was the Roman General during the Second Punic War who brought about the final defeat of Carthage at the Battle of Zama in 202 BC when he defeated the legendary military genius Hannibal. Scipio served as Consul as well as Censor during his political career.
