Secretary of the Treasury

The Secretary of the Treasury is the head of the Department of Treasury, which was the second department of the United States Cabinet, created in 1789. The secretary of the treasury develops policies for finances, the economy, and taxes. The secretary also advises the president on economic matters.[1]
