Sitting Pretty (1948) a comedy about the spoiled children of irresponsible suburbanites introduces "self-described genius" Lynn Belevedere as a vegetarian babysitter who detests children. The movie was followed by two sequels: Mr. Belvedere Goes to College (1949) and Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell (1951 in film).
