Sovereignty refers to the independent legal authority of a population in a particular territory, based on the recognized right to self-determination.[1]

By sovereignty, in its largest sense is meant supreme, absolute, uncontrollable power, the absolute right to govern.[2] For example, God has sovereignty over all creation. "He Who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords" (1 Timothy 6:15)

Sovereignty more specifically personal sovereignty means “self ownership” and as such is much larger than any political statement. This means owning your thoughts, asking your own questions, coming up with your own answers, trusting others if they deserve it, owning your failures, and owning your successes.

This is a deep topic today but it is absolutely critical to modern survival living. If you are preparing to deal with our (modern technological) systems of support you must first remove the fear of their loss. Modern survivalists act in power, not in fear. We prepare (for disasters or economic collapse) in order to abolish fear, not to appease it. - Jack Spirko[3][4]
