Stand-up comedy is a type of performance where the comedian stands in front of a crowd and delivers a comedic monologue. Props can also be used. Well known stand-up comics include Jerry Seinfeld and Ricky Gervais.

They frequently ridicule Conservatives and their beliefs. This is not surprising, as they often adhere to Hollywood values.
