Stephen (STEFF-in) Curry is an basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.
Curry is an outspoken Christian. He won the league's most valuable player award for the 2014-2015 season and led the Warriors to the championship that year. He then led his team to a record-breaking start of 24-0 start in the 2015-2016 season. In 2015, Curry became only the fourth basketball player ever to win AP's male athlete of the year award. Curry is the first player in NBA history to make 400 three-point baskets in a single season (2016).
While relatively short by NBA standards at a height of only 6'3", Curry plays the position of guard.
Curry signed a shoe deal with Under Armour and they sell a shoe with a Bible verse 4:13 on its tongue, for Philippians 4:13, which reads: "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
