Steve Grogan

Steve Grogan is a former National Football League quarterback for the New England Patriots. He entered the NFL in 1975 when he was drafted in the fifth round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Patriots out of Kansas State University. In his sixteen year NFL career, (1975 - 1990) he played in 149 games 26,886 yards and 182 touchdowns and also rushed for 2,164 yards (4.9 avg) and 35 touchdowns. In 1986, he was the backup quarterback on the Patriots when they lost to the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XX.[1]
