The Stonewall Riots were a series of riots perpetrated by homosexuals in 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in New York City. This Inn was a secret homosexual bar which operated outside the law and bribed police officers to look the other way so that it could continue operating without a liquor license and in violation of public indecency laws. It was owned by the Genovese mafia family. When the police moved to end the illegal activities at the bar and injured several patrons in the process, the homosexuals rioted, injuring many police officers and innocent bystanders. Homosexuals consider the Stonewall Riots to be their "Rosa Parks" or "Braveheart", an act of defiance against what they claimed was "injustice", while many social conservatives see them as the unfortunate nascence of the homosexual agenda in the public eye.

Media depictions

The Stonewall Riots were the subject of the 2015 feature film Stonewall, which engaged heavily in historic revisionism and offensive racial stereotyping, and also excluded minority representation. Movie critics and audiences alike overwhelmingly criticized the film and it was a massive flop at the box office.

The Stonewall Riots were also featured in the 2017 ABC miniseries When We Rise, which likewise both glorified and took a heavily revisionist, political and whitewashed viewpoint of the homosexual agenda and its history while demonizing and deliberately mischaracterizing those opposed to homosexuality.[1][2] It was the least-watched and lowest-rated show among the Big Four broadcast networks during the week it aired as viewers largely rejected the attempt at airing what amounted to homosexualist propaganda and lies.[3]
