Sunderland

Sunderland is a port city on the north-east coast of England, formerly famous as a shipbuilding and coal exporting centre, and now for the manufacture of motor vehicles for Nissan. The city's motto is Nil Desperandum Auspice Deo (Don't Despair, Trust In God.)[1] The people of Sunderland are sometimes known as Mackems.
