Super Bowl XXXIX
From Conservapedia
Super Bowl XXXIX was played on February 6, 2005 between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles. The game was played in ALLTEL Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Patriots won the game, their third Super Bowl in four years by a score of 24-21.[1] In winning this game, the Patriots became the second NFL team to win three Super Bowls in four years, the first being the Dallas Cowboys.[2]
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game award was awarded to Patriots Wide Receiver Deion Branch,[3] who tied the Super Bowl record with 11 receptions for 133 yards, though he did not score a single touchdown.[4] Branch was only the third offensive player ever to win the Super Bowl MVP without scoring.
