OH puhleeeze! It was called the bloodiest century because of WWI (in which American deaths were a lot less than other combatants); the Holocaust, (not a lot of Americans there) and the excesses of Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, and other various and assorted nasties which America (and others) made little effort to control. And can we remember that the US went to war in WWII because it was attacked? The rest of the free world had been at it for over two years.
Read that article and you are led to think that nothing else happened but in America or because of America. And the really scary thing about that is most Americans seem to believe that!! AlanE 03:55, 25 May 2007 (EDT)
