"In Europe it is thought to be a million million (1012), however the popularity of this usage is declining." It is? I hadn't noticed. AKjeldsen 16:30, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Wouldn't a billion be a THOUSAND millions, not a million millions? A million millions would be 1,000,000,000,000, or one TRILLION.--Elamdri 16:35, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

In America, a billion is a thousand millions. In Europe, however, a thousand millions is called a milliard, while a million millions is a billion. Each is logical enough in itself, but it's terribly inconvenient when they have to be coordinated. AKjeldsen 16:38, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
