Obviously this article needs more work, but I think it presents nervous ideas in a strange order. The first sentence connects the brain to the "spinal cord" - which only exists in vertebrates (by definition...). Then it talks about much simpler creatures - do insects have anything resembling a spinal cord? or does what little brain they have connect directly to sense and control nerves? The it moves back "up" to the vertebrates and their brain organization. Just a comment, hope the article grows and improves! Human 19:53, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
