Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech does not exist? I know a high level of socialist political correctness occurs but no freedom of speech, is this true? --Jpatt 23:19, 20 November 2010 (EST)

Britain has no constitutional right of free speech like in the United States. There are laws prohibiting some criticisms of the king or queen, for example, and truth is not a recognized defense.--Andy Schlafly 13:14, 21 November 2010 (EST)

Andy is right there is no written constrition in hte UK, but this seems a rather perjorative spiin. Other laws are enacted to maintain freedom of speech. In dood faith, I would be interested in knowing what laws there are enforced agaisnt critiscism of them monarchy as the latter has frequently occured freely in modern times?
