Removed "despite its usually cold weather" from the line about the 1995 heat wave. Although it can easily get below freezing in the winter, it can just as easily get above 90oF in the summer.
excessively long article ?
When I tried to edit the Chicago article, I got this message at the top of the edit page:
- WARNING: This page is 67 kilobytes long; some browsers may have problems editing pages approaching or longer than 32kb. Please consider breaking the page into smaller sections or removing irrelevant information.
This results from two situations: (1) a very long "Bibliography" list near the end of the article, and (2) a fairly long "History" section. In accordance with the above message, I propose doing the following: move the history to a new article called "History of Chicago", thus making more room for other valuable information.
