Why is most of the article (and the only references) dedicated to the number of members? Is this relevant in some way which has not been fully explained? HelpJazz 16:18, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

DU has a prominently displayed figure for the number of user registrations (currently over 120,000) which is proudly crowed about by its members, but no explanation as to how many of those registrations represent active users (much less how many registrations are for unique individuals) and how many are inactive (never used, retired or outright banned). Someone came up with a program to estimate how many active users there actually are. As far as references, see below. Jinxmchue 23:39, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

References

It's difficult to come up with references for this article as hardly anyone actually writes anything about DU. I'm slogging through Google News' results, though. Jinxmchue 23:40, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

A lot of it seems to be citing forum comments from DU users, which are virtually unusable for describing DU. Jinxmchue 23:53, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
