Huh? Did we watch the same movie? ;-) --Ed Poor 17:43, 18 April 2007 (EDT)

I was wondering the same thing, Ed. Perhaps you're recalling the scene where the older brother's friends help E.T and E.T. escape from the govt agents/scientists, and they all go flying through the air on their bikes? The other kids were friends, not bullies--the only "bad guys" in the flick were the govt guys. You know, this may be the perfect conservative movie: The "little guys" have to fight for their life and liberty against a government that is trying to "help", but only making things worse.  :)

People believe that E.T. is real? Seriously? You must hang out with a strange crowd...(Or do you mean that they think aliens in general are real?). Anyhoo, that strikes me as more opinion than fact.--WJThomas 19:09, 18 April 2007 (EDT)

This page should be expanded. It is a great flick, though. Where does conservativism enter into it, though? -- User:Rocky
