The holiest day

I was taught that Easter was the holiest day of the Christian calendar, more important than Christmas. --JamesK 05:15, 26 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Now that you mention it, I think I have that worded backwards. I'll remove the sentence, as it doesn't add much to the article anyhow. Vossyspeak 21:03, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
I think it's important to mention that it's the most important christian festival, so I put a sentence to that effect back in --JamesK 10:18, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
This might just be the next article to get world publicity, considering how bad it is.--Lohengrin 06:21, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
    • If you have improvements you'd like to share, feel free. I think it's a pretty good start. There's the history of the name in there, as well as the Biblical significance. I didn't put anything about easter eggs in there, as that is more of a pagan custom. Vossyspeak 21:00, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
Just how pagan does something have to be before it is not included? Or, in other words, how much error (from the Biblical viewpoint) is to be allowed in this, and other Biblically oriented entries?--[User:srathkopf] 05:23 04/19/07 (CDT)
