Talk:Emma Goldman

The idea that Emma Goldman did not support abortion is ludacris and the quote that is used to support this idea has been taken out of context. Ms. Goldman was using the statistic '19 of 100 births' to show the amount of unwanted pregnancies in the United States at that time and intended not to outlaw abortion, but to make abortions unnecessary by promoting birth control and abstinance. I suggest removing the line "However, as other early women's rights advocates, she did not support abortion"

Also, the quote "If I can't dance, I don't want to be in your revolution," was never uttered by Emma Goldman, but, rather, is a summation of a short anecdote from her autobiography Living My Life.
